Broward Hadassah offers self-defense program

Self-defense expert Amy Losek Ladenheim will teach ‘Krav Maga,’ a method of martial arts taught in the Israeli Army, to Hadassah’s Professional Women’s Council on March 27 at 6:15 pm at Vinnie’s Restaurant located at 4599 S. University Dr. in Davie. For more than 20 years, Ladenheim has taught martial arts to both adults and children and holds a Black Belt in Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing. She became an expert in Krav Maga at the National Training Center in Los Angeles, teaching members of law enforcement as well as soccer moms. Ladenheim owns FIST, Fighting Institute of Self-Defense Training in Sunny Isles Beach and travels around the world as a consultant in the industry.
